EA has been very busy this week!  I can't remember when exactly I last posted but hopefully her new things don't overlap.

In the last week or so, I think she has done something new everyday!  It started last Friday with our playdate.  When our friends were leaving I told EA to "wave bye"....and she kinda did!  I thought it must have been a fluke but Keen told me he has been working on it.  Now she waves all the time!  And it is totally on purpose!  She will wave especially at pictures of Keen and me!  Its so cute!

She also loves things up high.  I think that is why she loves balloons so much.  She also loves the light poles, flag poles and trees!  She just waves, giggles and gets so excited!

She started blowing raspberries.  Of course the first time she did it was when she was eating food.  Fun for all!  Ha!  Speaking of eating, she has really started to up the amount of solid food she is taking in.  She already drinks 8 oz. of milk at each feed so solids are where she will be picking it up.  I think a mix of her eating more and the grandmas being here (yeah!) and here going down a bit earlier for her afternoon nap, she has been taking great naps.  Occasionally, she still had a short one but for the most part, she took 2- 2 hour naps each day.  Its crazy that putting her down about 10-15 minutes earlier makes such a difference but it does!

She is clapping too!  She does an actual clap and then she will do this funny, rubbing hands clap.  Its kinda hard to describe but its so cute.

She loves to crawl up on us.  She still is not making any forward progression but she likes to crawl up onto our legs.  Then, she just sits here on her knees and rocks up and down a bit.  She also gets into a bear crawl position with her little bottom straight up in the air and then she looks around.

EA also started to sit up on her own this week.  Its still a work in progress so it takes a little while but she gets better and better each day!  She has also started to sit up in her crib.  Yeah for another sleep disruption, ha!  Most of the time its just at the end of her nap so its no big deal.  But I woke up to her crying last night at 2am and when I clicked on the monitor, there she was sitting up in her crib.  Needless to say we need to have lots of practice during some wake times so she can practice laying back down!!!

Here are some pics of cutie pie:
